Fiqh-us-Sunnah

The fiqh in general, is a product of later generations. The companions of the Prophet (Peace be upon Him) did not need its emulation into a new branch of knowledge because the law giver (the Messenger of Allah-Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) was still among them, their linguistic abilities were unsurpassed and those who narrated Hadith were alive.
